Lovena Mae Hobson Vestal

Mrs. Lovena Mae Hobson Vestal, 76, passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Vestal was born August 5, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Claude Henry & Minnie Frances Brown Hobson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jesse Jay Vestal, and a sister Betty Lou Casstevens. Surviving are her two sons Ronnie (Debbie) Vestal, Rickie (Michele) Vestal; grandchildren Shane (Heather) Vestal, Alesha Cheek, Chad (Amanda) Vestal, Abram Kirkman, and Justin Reed; six great grandchildren; two brothers James (Beatrice) Hobson, Lawrence (Annette) Hobson; a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday May 13, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel by Brother Lawrence Warden and Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of the 8th floor Palliative Care of Forsyth Medical Center.
