J. E. "Coozie" Finney, 76, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at Central Continuing Care. Mr. Finney was born July 28, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Winford Lee & Ila Bryant Finney. Surviving are his wife Ruby Cave Finney; a son Tim Finney; two daughters Tina (Garry) Anderson, and Tonya Finney; two grandchildren Ashley (David) Jacobs, Hali Tharpe (Fiancée Randall Bowman).The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday May 23, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Don Hudson. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Central Continuing Care for the loving care given to Mr. Finney.
