Jeffery Davis Lumpkin

Winston Salem Mr. Jeffery Davis Lumpkin, 46, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Lumpkin was born March 26, 1967 in Ruston Louisiana to Dr. William "Bill" and Elizabeth Davis Lumpkin. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. In addition to his father, Mr. Lumpkin was preceded in death by a brother, Chip Lumpkin; and a grandmother, Billie Woodard. He is survived by his son, Caleb Davis Lumpkin; his wife, Shannon Dubuisson; his mother, Elizabeth Lumpkin; father-in-law, Douglas (Linda) Dubuisson; mother-in-law, Dianne Dubuisson; a large group of fraternal brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon; and many other friends and family members. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, May 24, 2013 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caleb Lumpkin College Fund, 4183 Lytchfield Court Winston Salem, NC 27104.
