Mrs. Margaret Etta Ferguson Everidge, 94, of Jonesville, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. She was born on February 2, 1919, on Highland Orchard in Yadkin County, to Bynum Ferguson and Carrie Cooper Ferguson. Margaret was a member at First Baptist Church Jonesville as long as her health permitted. She worked at the Jonesville School Cafeteria for many years, and at the Carolina Bloomer Co., later she cooked lunch for the Chatham Mfg. Executives. She loved working with her hands- preparing meals for her family, and always the visiting revival minister, with homemade biscuits, fried chicken and chocolate pies; sewing two dresses, same style, different fabric for her daughters or working in the vegetable and flower gardens. Quilting was one of her favorite hobbies. Some of her sewing art hangs in the entrance foyer of Ardmore Baptist Church. Margaret was a wonderful mama, a devoted daughter-in-law caring for her father-in-law in their home for many years. Truly, Proverbs 31: 10-31 is a testimony of our mama, granny, and great-great granny. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, C. McNeer Everidge, 2001, brother, Aubrey (Velma) Ferguson. Survivors include sister Irene Groce (Farmer, dec.) son McDonald Everidge (Shelvia), daughters Nancy E. Banner (Reg), Carolyn E.
