H D "Hub" Wells

H D "Hub" Wells, 83, passed away Sunday June 2, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Wells was born October 26, 1929 In Yadkin County to the late Alfonso & Josephine Baity Wells. Mr. Wells was the owner and operator of Wells Grocery. Surviving are his wife Linda Lewis Wells; a son Phillip Wells; step children Stephen (Donna) Rhodes, Mitchell Rhodes, Tina (Frank) Icenhour, and Crystal Clarkson; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother Larry (Sharon) Wells; Special Kitty Miss Kitty. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel by Dr. Billy Seats and Dr. Allen Barker. Burial will follow at Turners Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with full Military Honors by the VFW Post 10346.
