Nancy Flynn Spann

Spann Jonesville - Nancy Lee Flynn Spann, 67, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1946 in Yadkin County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Flynn McCann and husband Claude. Surviving are her husband, Johnny Frank Spann; children, Frankie Lee Spann, Theresa Spann Hutchens, Stevie Ray Spann and wife Donna; grandchildren, Kelly Hutchens, Heather Parnell, Samantha Spann, Tiffany Spann; great grandson, Wesley Parnell; brother, Harvey Flynn; special friend, Joyce Walsh. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Mineral Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Gordon Macemore. Burial will follow at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Dr. James Hall at Levine Cancer Center in Charlotte and Forsyth Medical Center for all the love and care shown to Nancy.
