Dennis McLain Howell

Jonesville Mr. Dennis McLain Howell, 60, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Community Home Care. Mr. Howell was born December 14, 1952 in Surry County to Louis Howell and Bess Pack Wilson. In addition to his father, Mr. Howell was preceded in death by a brother, James Howell. He is survived by his mother, Bess Wilson; two children, Alexander Howell and Virginia (Garrett) Howell; five grandchildren; three sisters, Janet Horton, Paula McDowell, and Amy (Kevin) Dawson; and one brother, Wesley Howell. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 12:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Alex Nichols officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of the Carolinas for all the love, care, and support shown to Mr. Howell during his illness.
