Terry Gene Dinkins

Boonville Mr. Terry Gene Dinkins, 54, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his home. Mr. Dinkins was born May 31, 1959 in Yadkin County to Bobby and Evelyn Scott Dinkins. He loved to fish, hunt, and work on cars. In addition to his father, Mr. Dinkins was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grover and Lizzie Scott and Howard and Mary Dinkins. He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Dinkins; his mother, Evelyn Dinkins; a sister, Dianne (Frank) Myers; his girlfriend, Cyndi Crews and her children, Marissa Shew and Justin Gilbert; two nephews, Tracy (Lorna) Myers and Kelly (Phoenisa) Myers; one great nephew, Presley Myers; three great nieces, Maddie, Phoenix, and Piper Myers; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00AM at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Eddy Driver officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
