Absher Jonesville - Billy Ray Absher, 56, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born August 29, 1955 in Oxford, Pennsylvania to the late JK "Jake" Absher and Beulah Murray Absher. Surviving are his partner, Tommy "Joe" Wagoner; Joe's children and grandchildren, Heather (John) Mahan, Justin Wagoner, Lilley Mahan, Isabella Wagoner; brothers, Randy (Jane) Absher, Bryce Absher, Bobby Absher; sister, Sandy (Larry) Taylor; aunts and uncles, Mildred Billings, Ethel (Ronnie) Clayville, Lillie Wyatt, Ruth Fender, Omah (Vaughn) Wyatt, Kyle (Betty Ruth) Murray; very special friend, Margie Sherman; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Darren Brown and the Rev. Randy Absher. Burial will follow at New Salem Church in Sparta. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, which is serving the family.
