Dorothy Mae Pendry Brown

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Pendry Brown, 85, passed away Friday July 19, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 20, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Charlie and Telia Cooke Pendry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dallas Boyd Brown. Surviving are a daughter Melissa (Keith) Allen; grandchildren Mandy Allen (Jeffery) White, Caston Bryant Allen; great-grandson Bryson Boyd White; three sisters Nell McBride, Annie Lou Lynch and Alma Pendry Shore. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Saturday July 20, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday July 20, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Archie Creed. Burial will follow in the Union Cross Friends Cemetery.
