Sallie Lou Pendergrass Henderson

Sallie Lou Pendergrass Henderson, 97, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born September 10, 1915 in Yadkin County to the late Druery Pendergrass and Sarah Roberts Pendergrass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Talmadge Henderson; daughter, Rebecca Shadrick; granddaughter, Beverly Dawn Henderson. Surviving are her children, Gene (Evalene) Henderson, Barbara Ann (James) Darnell, Mildred (deceased - Phil) Johnson; grandchildren, Darron (Alketa) Henderson, Billy (Sandra) Henderson, Mark (Karen) Darnell, Linda (Billy) Boruff, Tina (Chris) Dawson, Phyllis (Bruce) Voigt, Diane Garity; fifteen great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Sweet Home Baptist Church by the Rev. Gary Blalock and the Rev. R.C. Redmond. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Sweet Home Baptist Church. Flowers accepted or memorials can be made to Kate B.
