Roberta Frances Helton Hutchens

Roberta Frances Helton Hutchens, 78, passed away Monday July 29, 2013 at Davis Regional Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1934 in Surry County to the late John Henry and Aurthie Mae Cook Helton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Larry Gray Hutchens. Surviving are her husband Richard Wade Hutchens, her children Billy Hutchens, Richard (Tracy) Hutchens, Frances Matthews, Mary (Dennis) Moncus, Jerry (Laura) Hutchens, Betty (Ricky) Smith, Patricia (Temple) Fulp, and Jody Hutchens; twenty one grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters Gaynell Key, Flora Lee Marsh; brothers Walter Helton, Fletcher Helton, and Harvey D. Helton. The family will receive friends from 1-2 Pm Thursday August 1, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Thursday August 1, 2013 at Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Mac Cassell and Rev. Ronnie Helton.
