Yadkinville Mr. Worth Macemore, 87, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Macemore was born August 27, 1925 in Yadkin County to John and Louise Reece Macemore. He was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. Mr. Macemore loved to mess with his honey bees and piddle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Macemore was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Macemore; a sister, Hessie Smith; four brothers, Harvey, Carl, Roy and Weldon Macemore; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Bowen. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Clara Bowen Macemore; two granddaughters, Jami (Kenny) Long and Jennifer (Chris) Drye; three great grandchildren, Hali and Heather Long and William Drye; one sister, Sadie Weddle; and a brothers-in-law, Raymond Smith, Donald Bowen, and Frank Bowen. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 3:00PM at Forbush Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Souther and Rev. Grady Trivette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Forbush Baptist Church 3917 Old US Hwy 421 E Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Pashold and the staff of the 9th floor at Forsyth Medical Center for all the love, care, and support shown to Mr. Macemore during his illness.
