Linda Darnell Parker

Jonesville Mrs. Linda Lee Darnell Parker, 70, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Parker was born December 13, 1942 in Surry County to Kermit and Ruby Casey Darnell. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sanford Ivan Parker; three sons, James Kenneth Parker and wife Laura, David Mack Parker and wife Yvonne, and Clint Alan Parker; five grandchildren, including one special grandson, Matthew Parker; one sister and two brothers. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11:00AM at Charity Baptist Church cemetery with Al Goff and Kelvin Naeif officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Forsyth Medical Center ICU nursing staff and to the Yadkin County EMS for all the love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Parker during her illness.
