Mrs. Mary Margaret "Peggy" Heller, 53, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Mrs. Heller was born October 3, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife and mother that lived life to the fullest. First and foremost, Peggy was a devout Christian woman that truly lived her faith and her love for God was evident to all people that were lucky enough to cross her path. Peggy selflessly devoted her life to others by becoming a Registered Nurse helping to provide care and comfort to those in need. Peggy was the most loving, caring, and outstanding mother anyone could have and positively helped shape 5 young lives. Peggy was an active member of Peace Haven Baptist Church, in Yadkinville, NC Peggy was a long term resident of Knoxville, TN for 27 years. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bob Heller; three sons: Darryl Heller, Brian Heller, Bobby Heller; two daughters: Faith Heller and Klaire Heller; granddaughter Madalyn Heller; two daughter-in-laws: Amanda Heller and Lauren Heller. The family will receive friends and family Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Rose Mortuary, Mann Heritage Chapel, 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:30 P.M. at the chapel within the facility and will be conducted by Pastor Jon Bowman of Peace Haven Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Half the Sky Foundation at http://www.halfthesky.org/en Half the Sky was created in order to enrich the lives of orphaned children in China. They provide model programs and caregiver training designed to offer loving, family-like care to children of all ages and abilities. It is their goal to ensure that every orphaned child has a caring adult in her life and a chance at a bright future. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the love and support of friends, family, neighbors, and specifically our church family of Peace Haven Baptist Church, Yadkinville, NC during this difficult time.
