Shelbie Jean Snow McKnight

Shelbie Jean Snow McKnight, 75, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. McKnight was born November 30, 1937 to the late Fredrick Jackson and Gladys Hemric Snow. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years C. L. McKnight, Jr.; her children Michael and Susan McKnight, Mark and Deanna McKnight, Tammy Stewart, and Mitzi and Virgil Settle; grandchildren Timothy McKnight, Kristen McKnight, Tyler McKnight, Cole Settle, Matthew Settle, and Carter Settle; two sisters Shirley Bryant, Freddie and Ed Masencup; two brothers Jimmy and Nancy Snow and David and Brenda Snow. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday August 22, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday August 23, 2013 at Charity Baptist Church by Rev. Eddy Driver. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Charity Baptist Church Building Fund 1500 Charity Church Road Boonville, NC 27011 or Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd.
