Henry Francis Saylor passed away August 22nd, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Born August 5th, 1931 to his parents, Benjamin E. Saylor and Maud Garner Saylor. Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Jane Saylor Reavis and daughter-in-law Frazier R. Saylor. He is survived by these people who were his world and he was theirs; wife Betty Ratledge Saylor, son Timothy R. Saylor of Pennsylvania, his daughter Lisabeth Saylor Parks and son-in-law Raymond H. Parks, Jr. their children, Meredith Lisabeth Parks and Morgan Saylor Parks. Daughter Jane and Kenneth Reavis' children Benjamin Charles Reavis and Angela Elizabeth Reavis. Many nieces, nephews and cousins, and extended family. He prized his family above all things and spent most of his life being with them while living through their experiences. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and loved them dearly. Among his accomplishments were serving in the U.S. Navy, Dairy farming, U.S. Mail carrier, Breeding Technician for American Breeders Association, and talented cabinet maker. Francis retired from RJR Archer Engineering Department. He will be greatly missed but celebrated every day in the legacy he has left with each person's life he touched.
