Hedgecock Kernersville - Ila Jeanette Money Hedgecock, 80, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 3, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Raymond Cornelius Money and Betty Hester Money. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eugene Hedgecock; a grandson, Robert Brewer; great grandchildren, Sowards twins; sisters, Hazel Money, Josephine Reed; brothers, Virgil Money and Odell Money. Surviving are her daughters, Deborah (Dennis) Cameron, Pam (Ray) Sands; grandchildren, Wayne Cameron, Brooke (David) Sowards, Sheryl (Josh) Hagwood; great grandchildren, Ty Sowards, Khloe Sowards, Nicholaus Dalton; sister, Martha Queen; special family friend, John Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
