Charles Buford Wallace

Wallace Harmony - Charles Buford Wallace, 84 of Harmony, NC passed away Saturday, August 31 at Gordan Hospice House. Mr. Wallace was born September 5, 1928 in Iredell County to the late Thomas Binkley Wallace and Lora Harris Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Maude Current Wallace, one brother, Roland Wallace, a sister, Margaret Wallace Myers, and a daughter-in-law Linda Craver Wallace. He is survived by two sons, Michael L. Wallace of Winston-Salem, NC, Dale L. (Juanita) Wallace of Harmony, NC, and a step daughter Diane Campbell Chapman of Statesville, NC, grandchildren, Shannon (Chris) Meinburg of Winston-Salem, NC, Chad Wallace of Winston-Salem, NC, Lori Beth (Derek) Johnson of Statesville, NC , Benjamin (Kellie) Wallace of Olin, NC great grandchildren Elizabeth and Putter Meinburg of Winston-Salem, NC, Jacob and Zachariah Wallace of Olin, NC. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 2, at Hebron Baptist Church from 10-11am. A graveside service will follow immediately in the church cemetery. Pastor Darren Johnson of Hebron Baptist will officiate.
