Shore Boonville - Alvis Keith Shore, 74, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013. He was born July 26, 1939 in Yadkin County to the Alvis Saunders Shore and Kate Poindexter Shore. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Shore; son, Kent Shore; Surviving are his wife, Margaret Prim Shore; mother, Kate Shore; children, Sammy Shore, Brian Keith (Tammy) Shore, Melissa (G.W.) White; brothers, David (Kathy) Shore, Clark (Brenda) Shore, Neil (Cindy) Shore; grandchildren, Lindsay Shore, Travis Shore, Tyler Shore, Chelsea Shore, Joseph Shore, Jared Shore, Kristin Shore, Tommy Keith (Donna) Robertson, Dustin Robertson, Dalley White; great grandchildren, Sadie Robertson and Hailey Robertson; daughter-in-law, Alison Shore; special friends, Mariena Shore, Marta Shore. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Will Hamric. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. He will lie in-state from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
