Bettie Marie Adams

Greensboro Mrs. Bettie Marie Cranfill Adams, 86, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. Mrs. Adams was born September 10, 1927 in Yadkin County to Lloyd and Della Driver Cranfill. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and retired from Chatham Manufacturing after 38 years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Clyde Gray Adams; one sister, Ruby Myers; and two brothers, Thomas Allen "T.A." Cranfill and James Lloyd Cranfill. She is survived by one son, Donald Gray (Judy) Adams; one granddaughter, Ingrid (David) Ostrom; one grandson, William Benjamin Ostrom; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM in Gentry Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hussy officiating. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Laura Rumley, Edna Rance, the staff of Greensboro Manor Senior Living, and Dr. Aurthur Greene with Piedmont Senior Care for all the love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Adams.
