Mrs. Hazel Crews Reavis, 88, passed away Saturday September 28, 2013 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Reavis was born May 29, 1925 In Yadkin County to the late Earlie and Myrtle Adams Crews. She was a member of Charity Bible Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard Reavis; a son Dean Reavis; a daughter Karen Reavis Mathis; two sisters Elouise Turner and Joyce Gobble; four brothers Ford Crews, Eldon Crews, Roy Crews, and Billy Crews. Surviving are two sons Wayne (Brenda) Reavis and Darrel (Doris) Reavis; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters Jeanette Moore and Shirley Harris. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM Monday September 30, 2013 at Charity Bible Church. Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 PM following the visitation by Rev. Brian Sipes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Reavis.
