Oza Mae Cook

Hamptonville Ms. Oza Mae Cook, 90, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Cook was born February 13, 1923 in Yadkin County to U.C. and Myrtle Royall Cook. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cook was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Gail (Benny) Swaim; one granddaughter, Melanie Swaim; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Hilda Weatherman. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. Johnny Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville.
