Steven Webb Cave

Boonville Mr. Steven Webb Cave, 64, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his home. Mr. Cave was born February 10, 1949 in Forsyth County to Rufus and Pauline Webb Cave. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Cave was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Gary Cave; and father-in-law, Bill Bryant. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis Bryant Cave; two children, Stephanie (Jody) Christopherson and Mitchell (Angela) Cave; three grandchildren, Hunter Christopherson, Mitchell Longacre, and Landon Longacre; mother-in-law, Georgie Bryant; a sister-in-law, Sharon Cave; a brother-in-law, Eddie (Becky) Bryant; four nieces and nephews, Angela (Steve) Walker, Eric (Stephanie) Cave, Marcus (Dayna) Bryant, and Michael Bryant (Ashley); and a special family friend, Mike Park. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Mission Fund, 3808 Center Rd Boonville, NC 27011.
