Alma Foster Hauser

Hauser Yadkinville - Alma Juanita Foster Hauser, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 20, 2013. She was born August 19, 1921 in Davie County to the late Coleman Mitchell Foster and Mary Della William Foster. She was an active member at Courtney Baptist Church for 45 years, where she was also a Sunday Scholl Teacher. Juanita was a self-employed Beautician. She was a member of the Eastern Star Yadkin Chapter 233, where she served as a marshal for 35 years. Juanita also enjoyed volunteering at Hoots Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Carl Douglas Hauser; six brothers; three sisters. Surviving are her children, Gray Hauser of Yadkinville, Dale (Dawn) Hauser of Chester, WV; grandchildren, Mike (Sara) Hauser, Seth Hauser, Alexandra Hauser; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Courtney Baptist Church by the Dr. Richard Capps. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Courtney Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Courtney Baptist Church, 3341 Courtney Baptist Church Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
