Nancy Matthews Tucker

Dobson Mrs. Nancy Evalee Matthews Tucker, 68, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Dunmore Plantation. Mrs. Tucker was born April 14, 1945 in Yadkin County to Crater and Dorothy Caudle Matthews. She enjoyed working in her flower garden in her earlier years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Tucker; and an infant brother, Charles Edward Matthews. She is survived by one sister, Ruby Key; one niece, Jennifer Key; one nephew, Jeffrey Key; and special friend, George Doub. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00AM at Northwood Baptist Church cemetery with Dr. Allen Barker officiating. The family will receive friends From 9:30 to 10:30Am Saturday morning at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Dunmore Plantation and Mtn. Valley Hospice for all their love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Tucker.
