Hutchens Yadkinville - Charles Richard Hutchens, 73, passed away Monday, November 04, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1939 in Yadkin County to the late Worth Tammage Hutchens and Alma Burchette Hutchens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Bowman Hutchens; son, Randall Lee Hutchens; sister, Peggy Joan Hutchens; brother, Bobby Worth Hutchens. Surviving is his son, Charles Michael Hutchens; granddaughters, Summer Paige Hutchens, Nikki Michelle Hutchens; sisters, Betty Davis, Edna Lynch, Vivian Edelman, Ruth Myers; brothers, Jim Hutchens, David Hutchens, Benny Hutchens, Roger Hutchens. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Scott Welch and Pastor Bryant Madren. Burial will follow at Courtney Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
