Ricky Allen Harris

Ricky Allen Harris, 56, passed away Wednesday November 27, 2013 at his residence. Ricky was born August 15, 1957 in Yadkin County to Joyce Lee and Helen Marie Steelman Harris. Ricky was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Ricky was a former Employee of R J Reynolds Tobacco Company where he went on to Gardner Webb where he received his Bachelor's Degree in 1994. He then went on to work in Human Resources at Yadkin Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his father Joyce Lee Harris, a sister Annie Leigh Gant. Surviving are his mother Helen Marie Steelman Harris; two sisters Tracie Harris and Beverly (Wayne) Holt; two brothers Randy (Phyllis) Harris and Mickey (Pamela) Harris; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Sunday December 1, 2013 at Union Grove Baptist Church. His funeral will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Gooden, Rev. Scott Welch, and Rev. Robin Dixon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
