Hattie Kate Russell Kimber

Hattie Kate Russell Kimber, 85, passed away Sunday December 1, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1928 to the late Albert Blaine and Alma Grace Hauser Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny W. Kimber, a sister Barbara Smith, two brothers Andy Russell and Jerome Russell. Surviving are her children Cynthia (Phillip) Saffo, Greg Kimber; a grandson Phillip (Yolanda) Saffo, Jr.; three great grandchildren Dante Saffo, Xavier Saffo, Ava Saffo; sisters Verna Martin, Pauline Hauser, Dianne Murphy, Dionne Ijames; a brother Francis Russell. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday December 5, 2013 at Gentry Family funeral Service in Yadkinville. The service will be at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
