Marie D Reavis

Reavis Yadkinville- Mrs. Marie W. Reavis, 84, of Taylor Street passed away Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at her home. She was born April 18, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late Wade and Helen Reavis. Mrs. Reavis was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Yadkinville United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Church Choir for several years, and helped with the Boy Scouts of America Troup 655. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Reavis and a brother, W. Edgar Reavis. Surviving are her beloved son, Dean C. Reavis and wife, Claudia of Yadkinville; grandchildren, 2 Christopher Reavis, and wife, Katie, Lauren A. Reavis; step-grandson, Philip Jorgensen; and step-great-grandson, Camden Jorgensen. The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:00 PM Friday at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday at 4:00 PM Gentry Funeral Service Chapel by Rev. Oliver Helsabeck. Burial will follow in Yadkin Memorial Gardens.
