Davis Yadkinville - Robert Lee Davis, 54, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born April 23, 1959 in Yadkin County to the late William Franklin Davis, Sr. and Ella Roberts Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Roberts, Wade Davis; niece, Brittany Poindexter. Surviving are his sons, Bobby (Jodi) Davis, Lance (Tequilla) Davis; sisters, JoAnn (Jack) Wagoner, Pat (Kelly) Poindexter, Lisa Adams; brother, Frank Davis; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; special family and friends, Sidney Davis and Children, Joe and Ethel Turner, and Donna Johnson. His funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Ronnie Harris, the Rev. Jack Wagoner, and the Rev. Besty Richardson. Burial will follow at Gospel Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice, his nurse Karen, caregivers Penny and Gail, and everyone who has been a part of Roberts care and help the family.
