Eddie Lefayette Shore

Hamptonville Mr. Eddie Lefayette Shore, 48, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his home. Eddie was born August 20, 1965 in Wilkes County to Charles "Ed" and Lucy Mathis Shore. He was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Coe Shore; a very special niece, Tyra Hall, of the home; K-9 companion, Curley; mother-in-law, Geraldine (Max) Dickerson; sisters-in-law, Libby Coe and Debbie (Rex) Childress; brothers-in-law, Dwayne Coe and Dean (Marshia) Coe; special cousin, Wilma (James) McNiel; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many special friends. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 3:00PM at Cranberry Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Johnson, Rev. Ricky Walker, and Rev. Victor Church officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iredell/Statesville Hospice, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Iredell County and to all the friends and family who have stood by Eddie and Anita through this difficult journey.
