Ethel Emma Warren

Ethel Emma Warren, 93, passed away Tuesday December 24, 2013 at the Elms at Tangelwood. She was born May 28, 1920 in Yadkin County to the late Thomas Franklin and Pamilia James Warren. She was a member of Huntsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Thomas ray "bud" Warren and James Edward "Eb" Warren. Surviving are her daughter Peggy Sue Warren Speer (Jay Hutchens), grandchildren Jason Speer (Missy Latessa), Mickey Speer, Darryl (Jalissa) Speer, Donna Ray Speer; great grandchildren Natalie Speer, Layklin Knight, Katie Knight, Stevie Knight, Mikinly Speer, Ian Speer; niece Dorothy Warren (Billy) Vestal; Nephew Tommy Warren; Best friend Rosie Brandon and many other special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday December 27, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted Saturday December 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Huntsville Baptist Church by Rev. Brian Chilton and Rev. David Kiser. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of the Elms at Tanglewood for the loving care given to Ms. Warren.
