Fuchsia P Pardue

Pardue Hamptonville- Mrs. Fuchsia P. Pardue, 85, of Pea Ridge Pass passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. She was born March 5, 1928 in Wilkes County to the late Robert and Dare Myers Pardue. Mrs. Pardue was a faithful employee to Chatham Manufacturing for 40 years. She was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church where she served the church as a Sunday School Teacher for several years. Mrs. Pardue was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed gardening, canning, was a hard worker, and was very faithful to lift up individual names daily in her prayer time. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pardue, by her brothers, Kermit, and wife, Florence; Phola, and wife, Marie; Bob Pardue; her sister, Bonnie, and husband, James Clayton; brother-in-law, Ted Somers; and Arvill Pardue; sisters-in-law, Edith Bell and Polly Pruitt. Surviving are her daughter, Hilda Holcomb, Hamptonville; Grandsons, Chip Church ( Jill Geiger), Jason Church; great-granddaughters, Taylor Church, Morgan Church; sisters, Virginia Walker, Hamptonville, Nada Coleman, Greensboro, Ann Woodruff, Elkin; brothers-in-law, Joe (Mildred) Pardue, Ronda; sisters-in-law, Kate Somers, Ronda, Jenny Pardue, Ronda; Josephine Pardue, Hamptonville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday at Union Baptist Church. Her funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the church with Rev. Kenny Pardue and Rev. Russ Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hugh Chatham Nursing Center personnel for all the loving care given to Mrs. Pardue, and the extra efforts given to make her feel "Special".
