James Steven Chappell

Chappell Jonesville - James Steven Chappell, 66, passed away December 31, 2013. He was born November 27, 1947 in Surry County to the late Shirley Max Chappell and Jessie Vestal Chappell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann Newman Chappell. Surviving are his daughter, Love (Tim) Yarbrough; grandson, Timothy Joel Yarbrough; brother, Larry Chappell; uncles, Junior (Odessa) Vestal, Bill (Jean) Ashburn. His funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Fall Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Don Hudson. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Fall Creek Baptist Church.
