Adelene Velma Reynolds Daye

Adelene Velma Reynolds Daye, 86, passed away Thursday January 2, 2014 at Clemmons Village 1. She was born March 14, 1927 in Yadkin County to the late Bud Miles and Percy Rutledge Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Sarah Trivette and Effie Fierce; two brothers Marshall Reynolds and James Reynolds. Surviving are her husband Junior Daye; children Diane (Graham) Jester, Debbie (Roger) Maines, Timothy (Michelle) Daye, Darlene (David) Watts; grandchildren Melissa (Travis) Black, Tommy Jester, Ashton Daye, Hayle Daye, Bethany Daye, and Noah Daye; great grandchildren Tyler Black and Austin Black; a brother Hubert Reynolds. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday January 5, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday January 6, 2014 at Gentry Family Chapel by Brother Steve McCollum and Brother Ricky McCollum. Burial will follow at Shacktown Church of Christ cemetery. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Clemmons Village 1 for all the love and support and for making us a part of their family.
