Mary Humphreys Carr

Carr Boonville - Mary Jane Humphreys Carr, 88, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born December 22, 1925 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania to the late Homer Russell Humphreys and Esther Rose Askins Humphreys. She was a charter member of Second Chance Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Lewis Carr; brothers, Clifford Humphreys, Richard Humphreys, Allen Humphreys, Harry Humphreys. Surviving are her children, Patricia Kowalski, Dora (Andy) Nesbella, Robert (Donna) Carr, Thomas Carr, Gregory Carr, William Carr, Ronald (Lynn) Carr, Debbie Greer, David (Kim) Carr; eighteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Her graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Second Chance Church by the Rev. Terry Coe. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the family.
