Harvey Odell Hutchens

Harvey Odell Hutchens, 91, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hutchens was born March 14, 1922 in Yadkin County to the late Cleve and Ida Howell Hutchens. Mr. Hutchens was retired from Thomasville Furniture and a member of Pilot View Friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Harold Gray Hutchens. Surviving are his wife of 69 years Goldie McKnight Hutchens; children Doris (Lynn) Johnson, Neal Hutchens, Ronald (Rachel) Hutchens; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; daughter in law Shirley Hutchens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday January 24, 2014 at Gentry Family funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday January 24, 2014 in the gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Nelson Puffenburger, and Rev. Brian Poindexter.
