Ethel Bryant Adams

Jonesville Mrs. Ethel Geneva Bryant Adams, 92, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Adams was born August 3, 1921 in Wilkes County to James and Geneva Byrd Bryant. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Warren Adams; and siblings, John, Walt, and Everette Bryant, Tess Stone, Bea Higgins, Marie Blackburn, Bert Ward, and May Alexander. She is survived by two sons, Larry (Linda) Adams and Ronnie (Phyllis) Adams; two grandchildren, Jennifer Windsor and Amanda (Keith) Myers; four great grandchildren, Sophie and Nathan Windsor and Lexie and Hayden Myers; one sister, Ruth Wood; and three brothers, Bob Bryant, Vaughn (Betty) Bryant, and David (Sharon) Bryant. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 27, 2014 at 3:00PM at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Rev. Roger Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Jonesville, P.O.
