Wall Yadkinville- Mr. Page William Wall, age 88, of Yadkinville died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Willowbrook Healthcare Center in Yadkinville. He was the husband of Laura Ruth Davis Wall and they would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on April 8, 2014. Page was born December 1, 1925 in Yadkin County the son of the late Benbow and Maude Adams Wall. Page was a member of Mt. Carmel Friends Meeting. He was a retired farmer and carpenter after retiring, he enjoyed traveling with Laura in their Winnebago, making lots of friends along the way. Page was preceded in death by a son, Edward Wayne Wall; a brother, Hubert Wall; and a sister, Inez Norman. He is survived by his wife, Laura Ruth Davis Wall; 2 children, Sylvia (Windle) Brown, Gary (Diane) Wall; 3 grandchildren, Elisabeth (Scott Carter) Dobbins, Vanissa (Bill) Zwigard, Mark (Michelle) Wall; great-grandchildren, Laura Dobbins, Anna Zwigard, Chase Wall; step-great-grandchildren, Ethan Pendry, Hannah Pendry; four sisters, Edna Brown, Ferne Spillman, marie Harris, Gertrude Adams; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel by Pastor Jeff Farmer, Rev. Bill Hale, and Rev. Gilmer Cox.
