Kermit Clay Williams

Yadkinville Mr. Kermit Clay Williams, 85, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. Mr. Williams was born January 22, 1929 in Yadkin County to Luther and Susie McCormick Williams. He was a member of Pilot View Friends Church. Mr. Williams enjoyed racing, fishing and water skiing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret Shore Williams; three sons, Jim (Kathy) Williams, Danny (Frankie) Williams, and Benny Williams; two granddaughters, Jenny (Evan) Sauda and Chelsea (Lee) Kiser; and two great grandchildren, Amelia and Owen Sauda. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at Pilot View Friends Church with Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger and Rev. Gene Moser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pilot View Friends Church, 3225 Pilot View Church Rd Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Jessie Vestal, Kay Dinkins, Wanda Norman, Betty and Odell Spillman, and Lenora Combs for all the love, care, and support shown to Mr. Williams and his family.
