Edith Mackie McGee

Edith Mackie McGee, 86, passed away Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. McGee was born March 23, 1927 in Yadkin County to the late Dallas Mackie and Ethel Bryant Mackie. She was a member of Yadkin Friends Fellowship (Grace Bible Church). She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Eugene McGee, a brother Roger Mackie. Surviving are her children Larry (Vickie) McGee, Pat (Roger) Carlton; grandchildren Michael (Vonda) McGee, Michelle (Adam) Denison, Keith Carlton, Cheryl Carlton; great grandchildren Maegan McGee, Mitchell McGee, Broc Barnette, Morgan Denison; sister Lucille Moseley; sister-in-law Nancy Mackie; special nephew Steve (Ginny) Mackie; a host of nieces, nephews, and other special family members. Her funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday February 16, 2014 at Grace Bible Church by Rev. Junior Thompson. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. McGee.
