Allen Gene Jester

Yadkinville Mr. Allen Gene Jester, 74, passed away Monday, March 03, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Jester was born November 30, 1939 in Yadkin County to Marshall and Silver Jester. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and was a member of Branon Friends Meeting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jester was preceded in death by his loving wife, Blaney Wooten Jester; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Jester; and two brothers, Roy and Ray Jester. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Raymond) Riggs, Teresa Brown (Beverly Casstevens), and Melody L. Hutchens Koslawy; six grandchildren, Chasity, Christy, Joshua, Maggie, Adam, and Aaron; four great grandchildren, Hailey, Robbie, Addyson, and Kiersten; and one sister, Elizabeth Brown. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2:00PM at Branon Friends Meeting with Dr. Hubert Wishon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Branon Friends Meeting, 1332 Branon Church Rd Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to thank the staff of Forsyth Medical Center for all the love, care, and support given to Mr. Jester during his illness.
