Dallas Robert Hutchins, Jr.

Rural Hall Mr. Dallas Robert Hutchins, Jr., 65, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hutchins was born October 17, 1948 in Yadkin County to the late Dallas and Hazel Hutchins, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Hutchins is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Vaden Hutchins; two children, Robin (Earl) Thompson and Johnny Hutchins; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Braelyn, and Dylan Hutchins, Theresa, Earl, and Dakota Thompson, and Cassie Doub; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Cearley; and one brother, Bill (Nita) Hutchins. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, April 4, 2014 at 3:00PM at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with Rev. JS Fletcher officiating. Full military honors will be provided by NC National Guard Honor Guard and Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30PM prior to the service at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center.
