Nancy Brandon Hutchens

Nancy Brandon Hutchens, 89, of Yadkinville, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 17, 1924 to Fred and Sallie Bet Brandon. Mrs. Hutchens was a homemaker and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her four children, Jane Hendricks of Hickory, Jackie Shelton of Yadkinville, J.D. "Tootie" Hutchens Jr. of Yadkinville and Cindy Kosofsky of Mooresville. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, Michelle Pendelow of Yadkinville, Chad Hendricks of Hickory, Bradley Cranfill of Yadkinville, Bleu Hutchens of Yadkinville, Sally Ferebee of Greenville, S.C., Brandon Hutchens of Yadkinville, Alex Hendricks of Hickory and Dillon Kosofsky of Mooresville. Mrs. Hutchens also had 10 great grandchildren; and two surviving sisters, Nell Reavis of Elon and Ella Mae Dobbins of Athens, GA. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jessie Miles officiating. The family will share fellowship with friends immediately after the graveside service in the fellowship hall of the church. Flowers will be accepted at Gentry Funeral Home.
