Callie Virginia Childress Branon

Mrs. Callie Virginia Childress Branon, 96, passed away Friday April 4, 2014 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Branon was born August 23, 1917 to the late Joseph Solomon Childress and Mary Ida Stanley Childress. Surviving are two sisters Agnes Ham and Nellie Smith; several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:30 - 4:30 Sunday April 6, 2014 at Gentry Family funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 4:30 Sunday April 6, 2014 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. J. P. Sizemore and Rev. Eric Morrison. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Branon.
