Alma Sue Tulbert Sloan

Mrs. Alma Sue Tulbert Sloan, 78, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Gordon Hospice Home. Mrs. Sloan was born October 14, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Paul Enos Tulbert and Beulah Mae Pardue Tulbert. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Kenny Tulbert; a sister Polly Jordan. Surviving are her husband of 61 years Carroll Sloan; her children Gail Allred, Chris Sloan, and Eric (Melissa) Sloan; grandchildren Ben Allred, Randi Allred, Joseph Sloan, Paul Sloan; great grandchildren True Allred, Summer Allred, and Kyleigh Rains; brother Rick (Janet) Tulbert; sister Louise (Richard) Chapple; sister in law Gail "Tuffy" Tulbert. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday April 19, 2014 at Zion Baptist Church by Dr. Joey Tomlin. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
