Deirdre Miller Williams

East Bend Ms. Deirdre "Dee Dee" Miller Williams, 52, passed away at her home Friday morning, May 2, 2014. Dee Dee was born October 9, 1961 in Yadkin County to David and Charlotte Loflin Miller. She attended Courtney Elementary and Forbush High Schools where she enjoyed softball and basketball. She also enjoyed crafts, jewelry making, and her grandchildren later in life. Dee Dee attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Yadkinville. Dee Dee was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Miller. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children, Dee (Bryan) Willard, Patrick Angel, Jami (Kenneth) Long, and Jennifer (Chris) Drye; eleven grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, Kynleigh, Kaelyn, Payton, Raegan, Hali, Heather, Hayden, Heath, and William; a sister, Leigh Hall; a niece, Brooke Atwater; and two nephews, Caleb and Chase Hall. A funeral Service will be conducted Monday, May 5, 2014 at 4:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Randy Hauser officiating. Burial will follow at Forbush Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1652 Yadkinville, North Carolina 27055.
