Ted Allen Stanley

Stanley Hamptonville- Mr. Ted Allen Stanley, 75, of Macy Road, and formerly of Grand Haven Drive in Concord, NC, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Gordon Hospice Home in Statesville surrounded by his family. He was born July 8, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Winfred and Beulah Harris Stanley. Mr. Stanley was retired from Central Motor Lines and Atlanta Motor Lines both of Charlotte. He was an active member and past president of the Coin Club in Kannapolis, NC. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Daniel Stanley; sister, Wilma Lou Hall, and a brother, Tommy Stanley. Surviving are his beloved wife of 55 years, Rose Macy Stanley, of the home; children, Alisa Stanley (Jim) Erts, of Kannapolis, Keith Stanley of Concord, Adrian Stanley of Yadkinville; and grandson, Jesse Erts. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow the visitation on Sunday at 2:00 PM at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville with Rev. John Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brenners Childrens Hospital Art Department, WFUBMC, Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
