Mozelle Hayes Huff

Huff Boonville- Mrs. Eva Mozelle Hayes Huff, 85, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Avante Nursing Home in North Wilkesboro. Mrs. Huff was born July 11, 1928 in Surry county to the late Floyd Roosevelt and Alva Vada Mathis Hayes. She attended Boonville United Methodist Church and worked as the Church Secretary for several years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Huff; three brothers, Roy Hayes, Fred Hayes, and Billy Leo Hayes who also passed away on June 3, 2014. Surviving are her sisters, Alice Seaford, Mocksville; Jean (Dave) Blake, Thomasville; Marie (Jerry) Gallimore, Lexington; two brothers, Bruce (Betty) Hayes, Welcome; Hugh (Sara) Hayes, Sunset Beach; and a sister-in-law, June Hayes, High Point. A graveside service for Mrs. Huff will be 11:00 AM Friday at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marion Swann, officiating. Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
